What is the Client Portal?

The Client Portal is part of the Finity Pay platform. It provides end clients with secure, read-only access to workforce and payroll information in one place, without needing to contact their payroll provider for routine queries.

The portal allows you to:

  • View worker information

  • Access payment records

  • Download payslips

  • Review compliance evidence (if enabled)

All information is read-only, meaning you can safely view and download data without the risk of making changes.

All information displayed in the Client Portal is driven by the Employee records in Finity, which are linked to the specified Agency record in Finity. This ensures that only data linked to the selected agency is exposed to the user. You can set users up for the Client Portal by navigating to ‘Agency Portal Users’ in the Agency Settings page.

For added security, we strongly recommend enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on first login.

What can clients do in the Portal?

1. View Worker Information

Once logged in, you can view personal and employment details for all workers allocated to your business, including:

  • Worker name and contact details

  • Employment status

  • Tax information

  • Payment history

This provides visibility and transparency across your workforce without requesting reports from payroll.

2. Download Payslips

Payslips are available directly from the Payments section.

You can:

  • View payslips online

  • Download individual payslips as PDF files

  • Access historical payment records

This gives you a self-service record of worker payments at any time.

Compliance Features (If Enabled on your account)

Some accounts have access to the Compliance Gateway, providing additional visibility into HMRC reporting and payment obligations.

If enabled, you can:

Review FPS Submissions

An FPS (Full Payment Submission) is the report your payroll provider submits to HMRC each pay period. It confirms:

  • Payments made to workers

  • Income Tax deductions

  • National Insurance contributions

Through the portal, you can review FPS submissions linked to your business, giving documented evidence that payroll information has been submitted to HMRC.

View Liability Documentation

If your payroll provider uploads supporting documentation, you can download evidence confirming that HMRC liabilities have been paid.

Important:

  • The portal provides access to exactly what has been uploaded into Finity Pay.

  • Only documents uploaded by your payroll provider will be available.

  • The portal does not generate additional compliance documents beyond what has been submitted.

If you believe evidence is missing, please contact your payroll provider.
